The 30th Anniversary 2012 "Winni Derby" was held May 18-20

At the end of the first day, Brady D. fishing with his father Scott had led in the Lake Trout Division  with this 5.34 lb Laker. Brady's fish had held onto the lead until the final day where it ended up finishing third. Overall it was still a terrific finish and something we'll always remember.

Congratulations Brady D. and Scott D.

Opening Day of Salmon Season 2012 found Brady D. and his father Scott fishing Lake Winnipesaukee.

They had landed 8 Salmon in 5 hours (not bad), and Brady is shown here with a couple really nice fish they caught.

When I first saw this picture I was reminded of that Fish & Game slogan from last year "Parents don't frame pictures of kids playing video games"

Katherine C. shown here with stylish headgear and cool shades, is kickin' off the winter cobwebs fishing with her  Mom, Dad and Grand Dad

Photos show some nice Brookies she caught in a small CT pond.

When asked what she likes best about fishing...

"reeling, I like reeling"

Matt S. from Presque Isle, Maine passed along these pictures and message ...

"Your Blue Smelt worked great trolling the river for brook trout this morning. Caught 11 in 3 hours and kept these two butes, a 17" + 14".

Thanks Matt and Good luck

Pascale F. caught this nice stringer of Trout with her father Andrew F. on small pond in Central CT.

Some of these where caught in the Mattabbaset River.

Nice Catch Pascale!

Rachel H. on opening day shown with 2 of the 5 Trout she caught while fishing with her dad Vin H. on a nice Southern New England Stream.

And a Red Sox Fan to boot! ;-)

(Rachel's dad, Vin is also featured here at the bottom of the page)

Rachel H. is back at it again. This time she caught a fine 14" Brookie fishing with her cousin Tim and her dad.

The second shot is of Rachel and Tim with there catch.

Good Luck !!

Dennis liked our lures and sent an e-mail with these pictures, showing his fishing 'Maine in May' and wrote......

"Tried out your lures for the 1st. time this past week, we really liked them, it seems that the Salmon and lakers liked them even more than us. That Blue Smelt lure was and is HOT."

The first photo of '04 comes from Mike K, of West Haven CT. Mike was using a 1/8 Gold Casting Spoon to catch this nice Bass at Maltby Lakes in Orange CT. Way to go Mike!

This fine specimen of a Landlocked Salmon was caught by Jeffery S. (see below for other accomplishments) on Lake Winnipesaukee NH. This time Jeff was using a Copper Flutter Spoon.

The Roswell Lure was working for Jeffrey S. (age 10) on a recent trip to Damariscotta Lake in Maine. He knows what works! Jeffrey and his dad Don both had success with the Glow In The Dark Flutter Spoon that day.

Here Jim M. and his son Len show off a couple of Lakers they caught trolling this summer on Sebago Lake in Maine.

This puts to rest that old question "Does your kid ever get to old to take fishing?" NAH!!

Good Luck Guys

Our first fish picture of the 2001 season was sent to us by Tim, showing the years first trout. Tim caught this one on Opening Day in Guilford CT. Tim and his Uncle Vin (see below) had a very productive opening day. Vinny says that the copper and glow in the dark 1/8 Oz. Spoons were working for him.
